From above sample, see the 69 and 19 in Box 3, and the 16 in Box 6. Makes an easy XYZ-Wing that eliminates the 6 in R6C7, and then the rest falls into place.

I don't even know what a skycrapper ...

Took an extended absense from Daily Sudoku. Recently have played the Very Hard puzzles and just wanted to post that I enjoy the site and appreciate the input on how others have solved puzzles.

I still got it. I haven't done a puzzle in a long time. Happened to stop on in and found a VH puzzle, and about 7 minutes later, done. Wooohooo.

That took all of a couple of minutes. The UR on 17 opened it up completely with simple elimination from there. Normally I review emails and work on a VH puzzle for up to 1 hour before it's solzed. ...

Great puzzle today. I use only basic moves (stay away from skycrappers and coloring, etc) and almost always am able to solve every puzzle.

You guys are way better than I will ever be.

You did mean to elininate the '2' in R4C5? That was how I solved ...
