I see the UR, now that you mention it in boxes 1 & 7.

As for the w-wing, is it in the cells marked a-b-c-d? If so, it removes the 8 in r5, c8.

Also, is there not a w-wing using cells marked e-f-g-h, removing the 8 in r7, c2?

My W-Wing was on the 48s in boxes 46, connected by the 4s in r4 and taking out 8s in r6c3 and r5c8.

I'm sorry, I can't see a W-Wing on the 58s. |

I do not see how the Bug+2 can eliminate 8 from r5c8. If I understand Bugs correctly, the Bug+2 says that r6c3=4 or r7c2=8. From that you can determine that r7c1<>8 (which leads nowhere) or r6c4<>4. You can get to r5c8<>8 from r6c4<>4, but I do not see how you can eliminate 8 directly from the Bug. What am I missing? |

you are right I got my 5's and 8's mixed up on r7c2. |

Back to the drawing board.

Try r2c1 must equal 8 -- with it you still need and xy-wing

I will keep trying. Thanks for keeping me straight. |

				| Why look for Bug+2s when there is a pathetically easy Type 1 UR. For a very hard this was very limp. |
