				| Mogul that was quick!
There seemed to be lots of dead-end paths like URs and swordfish - I found one elimination (continuing my 'almost' studies of late) that opened it up also...

  	  | Quote: | | (467)ANT (467=3)r124c7-(3=7)r3c9-(7=6)r3c3; r3c8<>6
 alternative for same elimination...

 AIC (6=7)r3c3-(7=3)r3c9-r6c9=r6c8-(3=6)r9c8; r3c8<>6

				| I was looking at the board when you posted the puzzle and jumped right on it in true Dan fashion ! Another discontinuous loop - contradictions abound.
I must say I do like the Astraware puzzles you have stuck up. I'm afraid I'm not really cognisant of the rating system.

				| To be honest they are pretty patchy! Their solver only does x-wings and then generic forcing chains - so sometimes even the hard ones fall to a simple turbot fish pattern. I usually paste them into SS and keep pressing F11 - if it hits the "No hint available" I take a look at them otherwise dont bother. No idea how the difficulty score works - other than bigger is better - the ones over 20000 tend to be SudokuExplainer 7.2 or harder. | |
