I enjoy trying to find one step solutions but I'm a REAL amateur so they take me a long time! Someone let me know if my chain is not valid or if the eureka notation is wrong. (It doesn't look right to me.)
5r1c2-r1c6=(5-2)r7c6=r7c1-(257={})r1c1; |

I am terrible with the Eureka notation. My path was the XY Wing (349), with the pivot at r4c3(49) and pincers at r3c3(34) and r6c1(39). This meant that r3c1<>3 and r6c3<>3. This lead to a Finned X-Wing for (9) in rows 4 and 7, columns 1 and 9 with the fin at r6c9. If either the X-Wing OR the fin was true then r4c7<>9. Basics took me home from there.
Really enjoy reading and applying the various solving techniques everyone that posted used. I learn more everyday.
Thank you all. |
