Then I used the following ridiculously long chain (using pencil and paper of course!)

8*r3c2-(8=3)r3c8-r6c8=(3-4)r6c7=4*r5c9-(4=8)r5c1-[(8=7)r5c5-(7=1)r6c6-(1=7*)r2c6 -r8c1]=8@r9c3-r9c7=r8c9-(4*7*8=5)r2c9-(57*=6)r2c5-(68*=4)r2c3-(48@=6)r6c3-(6=1)r6c4 contradiction (i.e. 1r6c46) => r3c2 != 8; stte.

I found a finned x-wing that eliminated 8 from r3c12. Basic steps thereafter. Hope I didn't make a mistake!
