				| I'm down to the short hairs on this one, but at an impasse. What should I be looking for? I expected, but don't see, an XY wing. Or, an XY chain.

				| The Captain sez... "Belay my last." I took another look and there it was, a simple XY wing. | |

				| There is an x-wing on 3, which opens up an xy-wing that solves the puzzle. | |

				| All I used here was an xy wing with a 19 pivot in R7C5 that eliminated the 8 in R6C4. I guess there were also a couple of x wings on 3's and 4's but are these VH steps? Also when there are two concentric squares in 4 boxes (as in the case of the 3's here) - is it even necessary to label this an x wing elimination? | |
