				| I thought I had this puzzle solved, but the door slammed as I thought I was closing it out. I think I finally solved it correctly using an XY chain beginning at C4R9 resulting in elimination of the 1 in C4R3. Is that how the gurus solved it? | |

				| Can't speak for the gurus, but what you describe would be called by most on this forum an XY-wing, which is the shortest form of XY-chain. | |

				| Not a guru...
I used a Type 2 Rectangle, which I don't know if it was necessary, and an XY-Wing on 37-31-71 finished it off. Many puzzles have multiple solution paths.

				| Pete,
Like Marty said, some puzzles have diffirent solution paths.
There is a 4-cell xy-chain present in box 7 which ends in box 8 or vice versa.
