				| Yesterday, Vanhegan's Fiendish was a one-stepper; today it was a real beast (for me)!
  	  | Quote: | | xy-wing 356 with pivot 35 in r7c4 to delete 6 in r2c3. Transporting the 6 in r7c3 to r3c1 via r7c1 also deleted 6 in r3c56, x-wing 9 in r37c15.
At this point I tried all kinds of stuff but failed to find a pattern, so I started looking for a chain and found one.
 (5=6)r1c3 - (6=9)r3c1 - (9=8)r3c5 - (8=5)r3c6; r1c6<>5.

I again tried to find a pattern step but failed and had to again look for a chain.
 (6=9)r1c6 - (9=8)r3c5 - (8=5)r3c6 - (5=3)r3c9 - (3=6)r3c7; r1c8<>6.

A BUG+3 condition then forced r7c7=5 to complete the puzzle.

A very long, hard puzzle but successful.
